Generally, I can’t be bothered with laptops. The ability to carry them around is all well and good, but the fact they are invariably much lower-specced than equivalently-priced desktops, harder to upgrade, and much more unreliable tends to outweigh that. After all, it’s not like I often need to take my PC with me when I go anywhere.
But on a gorgeous sunny afternoon like this one, I can’t help but feel that a laptop (and a wireless network, obviously) would be wonderful, for no other reason than the fact I could sit outside to use it, rather than staying indoors.
Oh well. I can’t afford one, so that’s that.
