Walking back from the town centre today, I was passing a pub that seems to put on quite a lot of live music, and noticed that, amongst other acts, Nils Lofgren, of Crazy Horse and the E-Street Band, is performing there on the 23rd. Great! No, wait, I’m going back home that weekend, because Jessica and I are playing gigs on both the Saturday and the Sunday (the latter supporting Spiers and Boden – how cool is that?). Why, why must things I want to do always be scheduled for the same time?
