Been trying out Firefox 2 Beta 1. I’ve been fairly indifferent to most of the changes from 1.5, but there are a couple of features I really like. First up, the inline spellchecking in text boxes is pretty nifty. This was previously available through the Spellbound extension, but it’s nice to have it as core browser functionality. Second, the session restore feature is very cool. I managed to crash Fx half way through writing this entry, but when I restarted it, it was able to restore my session, including the half-written blog post I had. Very handy.
