Right. Enough cocking around. Time to actually post this while it’s still news to more than three people. I didn’t pass all of my resits (I was right when I said here that they would be necessary).
This means that I have to suspend registration for this year, and retake the modules that I still haven’t passed at the end of it. Although I am not technically registered for the course this year, I am apparently still welcome to attend lectures and such, so I do have some chance of succeeding this time around (trying to learn the stuff without (a) the structure afforded by timetabled lectures and (b) the actual teaching received therein is not going to work if this summer is anything to go by). Fortunately it is only second-semester modules that I have to retake, so I will actually be able to work a reasonable amount this semester, which will be necessary since I don’t get a student loan this year.
Of course, having said that, I haven’t actually got a job yet, and my funds are running dangerously low. Hopefully I will get around to remedying that soon.
