Oxford Folk Festival

Well, that was a good weekend, as usual. Concert on Friday evening was headlined by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, who were, I think even better than when I last saw them at Cropredy the year before last.

The street procession with Melomania went well, although the promised appearance of John Kirkpatrick turned out to be only very brief and at the very end. Once that had finished, we headed over to the pub. With hindsight, three and a half pints before lunch was perhaps a mistake, as I spent much of the afternoon struggling to stay awake. Nonetheless enjoyed some fine acts on both Saturday and Sunday, and finished things off with a cracking session on Sunday evening.

In other news, apparently I have a job for the rest of the week.
