Well, I can now reveal that what I was planning to do was to go down and play a spot at the Hobbit’s open mic night. And I’m glad to say it went very well. Although I think the novelty of having someone playing melodeon probably helped a lot, my set went down really well. I even managed to get away with singing a song, which I’ve never tried before.
I’m not sure whether to go back next week, or wait until the week after, since I don’t know what state my voice will be in after Garyoke. Perhaps I’ll wait until Thursday and see.
*Is slightly hurt at not knowing that this fantastic event was even happening*
Did you not saying anything cause you didn’t want anybody you know there or was that on purpose?
Anyway, I’m glad the whole thing went well :-D

Please don’t be hurt; I didn’t tell anyone, partly because I wanted the freedom to chicken out without letting anyone else down, and partly because if I died on my arse then I didn’t want anyone that I knew to be around to see it.
But, as I say, I’ll be going back either this week or next, so feel free to come along then if you like.
Haha! You’re sitting behind me, and yet I still feel the need to comment on this post.
I’ve seen you doing the miking of openishness. Yeah.
Why in god’s name am I posting? Or thinking about linking my blog thing in the URL? Which should be pronouncing earl, I think.
Totally babbling now, and replacing full-stops with commas, and letters with flibbib.
Monkey balls on fire.
By my mystical admin powers, I have fixed the earl in the comment above. Aren’t I amazing?
(Correct answer: not especially.)
