Well, that’s it. No more exams for this year.
I think I did okay this time, too. Not amazingly well, but well enough that I should be able to progress into the third year in the autumn. Which is a great relief, I must say.
What did make an interesting change was that I actually managed to get some useful and productive revision done. I’m not usually very good at revision, I tend to find that it doesn’t really make very much difference to anything. But for both this exam, and thermal physics last week, I found that the revision I had done was very helpful and actually made a difference to how well I did. In particular, I was able to answer the fairly easy question on commutators (a third of the total marks available) largely thanks to having revised them on Friday.
So aside from being broke, the fact that the lingering remnants of this blasted cold still refuse to go away completely, and the fact that I’ve got a slight touch of hay fever, everything is good at the moment.
