One of the nice things about having a proper web host rather than just using the webspace your ISP gives you is that it will often include handy features like letting you view statistics relating to your site. So yesterday I did just that. It was interesting stuff.

So, here are the top 15 urls retrieved. Note that these stats are global for all domains associated with my account, so they’ll include pages under duck.axelfendersson.co.uk as well as www (hence the fact that there are hits for / and /dancers.html). It’s mostly not terribly exciting, but it is interesting to note which blog post is the most popular by a significant margin.

This is rather more revealing. It turns out that, thanks to this post last May, when people find this blog in a search engine, they are usually looking for porn. A quick check shows that I am currently at the top of page 2 when searching for ‘bare maidens’ (although, of course, this post may well change that).
Interestingly, the next most common theme seems to be looking for Chaos Space Marines, especially my Ravager Titan. Oh, and I really want to know who was searching for ‘cooking gamesoc’ and what they were looking for.
